Got a pesky little curve in a formal upright that you can't correct with just bonsai wire? Or a stiff old section that needs a little movement? Try a branch bender. After you put it on, tighten the jack screw a little bit every few days until you get the results you are looking for. Be sure to leave it on long enough for the wood to set in its new position (if you use it with wire, you may be able to remove it sooner).
